The short hike starts just before leaving Lumio. The path climbs behind the Hotel A Casa Di Mà. There are always beautiful views of the coast of the Balagne.

The village itself lies on a small plateau. Most of the houses are dilapidated and in danger of collapsing, so you are not allowed to enter them. The village has been abandoned since 1927, only the small church has been restored and is occasionally open for events.

If you follow the path further uphill to Capu d’Occi, you will pass an old threshing floor from which you have a very good view of the village.
Arrived at Capu d’Occi you have a good overview of the coast of western Balagne – a perfect place to rest.

The way back leads over a plateau and later down at a little steeper path to Lumio.
