Picturesque Bays, also an Airport and Bonifacio

A flight from Calvi to Bonifacio takes about an hour, the north-south extension of the island should not be underestimated.
Figari Airport in the south of the island is a bit inland, so with the right clearance it is easy to follow the southern coastline.

Viewing the picturesque bays and the cliffs with their bright white and yellow sandstone cliffs from a low height is an experience. So is the seaside town of Bonifacio, perched on a promontory high up on the cliffs. King Aragon’s stairway leading down to the sea and the medieval citadel are a fantastic sight from the air.

If you fly back on the west coast, you will pass the small Propriano airfield, located directly on the beach. An uncomplicated stopover is possible here before you reach Calvi again past Ajaccio.
