For me, the westcoast is without a doubt the most beautiful side of Corsica. Beaches and hills to the south, the small airport of Propriano right on the beach, followed by Ajaccio and the rugged rocky coast to the north. The peninsula of La Scandola to the north of Porto is the oldest nature reserve in Corsica and can only be reached on foot and by boat. The evening sun lights up the rocks of La Scandola, an incredible sight from the air.
