There are countless chestnut trees in this area and in autumn you can take a small supply with you. When collecting the chestnuts, however, it can happen that suddenly one (or more) wild boars come along the path and do not let the presence of humans prevent them from eating the chestnuts themselves. One time or another I had no choice but to clear the field. In a fight with a wild boar, I would certainly have gotten the worst of it.
