The Finger of Corsica

The northernmost part of Corsica has a very rugged coastline and beautiful hilltop villages on the western side. It’s half a world trip by car from Calvi to the northernmost point.
The mountains in the middle of the peninsula rise to almost 4000 ft and are often a weather divide.

On the western part of Cap Corse there are no significant restrictions in terms of flying, in the east the Bastia control zone must be observed. Corsica’s second busiest airport is just a few miles to the south.
