On The Boat

Anyone who has the opportunity to explore the Corsican west coast from a boat will be amazed at the impressions that are offered. The sight of the different colored rock formations from the sea is incredible. Especially in the evening sun, the rocks of La Scandola glow purple red. Together with the deep blue sea and the green vegetation, this is a unique spectacle of colors.

The sea is rich in a wide variety of fish and corals and with a bit of luck you can spot sea eagles in the air.
The peninsula with over 900 hectares and the sea around La Scandola with over 600 hectares have been protected since 1975 and belong to the “Parc naturel régional de Corse”. The crystal-clear water invites you to snorkel and dive and the small bays to picnic and linger.

If you don’t go as far as La Scandola, which is a longer tour from Calvi, you will still be fascinated by what Corsica has to offer on a boat trip. Amazing rock formations, crystal clear water and beautiful bays are everywhere along the coast.

For those who don’t want to miss the sight of the red rocks at dusk, a flight along the west coast is a worthwhile alternative.
