Calvi Airport with its Aeroclub is the ideal departure point to explore Corsica from the air. Calvi is located on the northwest coast and offers bays with white sandy beaches in the immediate vicinity, cliffs in the west that offers an incredible spectacle, especially in the evening sun, and crystal-clear water everywhere. The mountains start right on the coast and offer unforgettable impressions whether you look at them from the interior of the island or from the sea.
Flying on Corsica is one of the most beautiful things to do here. The landscapes are unique in Europe and can hardly or not at all be reached by car, bicycle or on foot. Whether you follow the coast with its many bays and the crystal clear water, or fly into the interior of the island with the mountains up to 2700 meters high – everything is breath-taking.
Even after well over 2000 flight hours, I am still fascinated by the impressions that are offered on every flight over the island.

The aircraft (C172) of the local Aéro Club are used for the flights. The Aéro-Club Calvi-Balagne has its own building with a hangar at Calvi Airport.
You can get to know and enjoy the beauty of the island away from all roads and paths – from the sea directly to the high mountains with more than2700 meters.
It is possible for EASA license holders to combine a flight with the 2-year license renewal check flight.
